National Philatelic Museum located at Dak Bhawan housing  rich collections of stamps was under renovation for some time past. The newly renovated museum  has been  inaugurated by our Secretary of Posts, Ms Radhika Doraiswamy , on 11th july 2011 at 11.00 hrs. All the Sr officers of the Department were present. The renovated museum  has now been designed to display stamps, rare artefacts, library, childeren gallery , special space for artits corner and amphitheatre . The Children Gallery is tastefully designed  depicting jungle scene and displaying along stamps related to flora and fauna  which will ceraintly going to be major draw for the children.Besides, in the museum, a souveior shop is created so as to attract the visitors and encouraging to buy the souveniors.
